"Our main Aim is to inform, educate,
empower,and provide support to parents and carers of children young
people and adults with A.D.H.D (Attention
Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and those living studying or working
within the professional field."
ADHD is a genetic
condition that affects those parts of the brain that control attention,
impulses and concentration. It is affects 3 to 9 % of children, and symptoms can persist into adulthood.
People with ADHD have difficulty focusing their attention to complete a
specific task. Additionally they can be hyperactive and impulsive and
can suffer from mood swings.
Southampton ADHD has been established by
volunteers to support people who's lives are effected by ADHD. We will
